The Lafayette GPS Mini is a very handy GPS device weighing only 120 grams. It has no ports, making it completely waterproof. The GPS Mini has wireless charging and comes with a QI charger that easily connects via USB. The plastic in the GPS Mini has been carefully selected to withstand extreme stress on the plastic, as we know how much wear and tear dogs put on the products.
The Lafayette GPS C40 builds on the electronics of its little brother, the GPS Mini, but has undergone two major changes. Double the battery capacity to a full 4000 mAh and a completely new casing that gives you both a robust feel and an ergonomic shape.
Of course, Lafayette's GPS has a bark indicator and bark counter. A unique feature is Lafayette's bark counter, which not only filters out clean sounds but also identifies the sounds that come in. Only dog barks are recorded and then displayed to you in the app, both by number of barks and color-coded tracking.
Another handy feature is the ability to change device settings that are sent when devices communicate with the user, which is normally done in conjunction with the positioning interval. Therefore, in some systems, this can be perceived as slow. However, with Lafayette GPS, you can send commands and device settings that never take longer than 30 seconds, regardless of whether the positioning interval is much longer than that.
